Still no sleep apnea function despite all the great promises made when the Ultra watch was launched.....

At this rate the watch 8 will arrive in UK with no means to show the time!

To be honest this usually happens with new functions and new hardware releases.

When the watch 5 pro first came out a couple years ago, the health aspects for blood pressure and ECG were still pending medical approval by the UK medical board for use.

Of course these functions need to be verified, meet a minimum requirement and with sufficient accuracy to be agreed with the correct approvals.

I expect this is in the process, and pending approval. Also different regions such as US market and Asia will have a different approval process... hence why some regions get these features at different times.

Hopefully it will be implemented soon enough. The public release for the watch 7 and ultra range were end of July... so 4 months have elapsed.

May have hoped that would have been enough time for the approval, but these things can take time.

Unfortunately I do second the other answer.
I'm waiting for the feature as well.
But the rules are somewhat different in the US, which is why they get FDA approval quicker.
Here in the UK, this move achingly slow. So getting approval for medical type features can take a long time.
Hopefully it won't take too much longer

Should not be advertised, misleading, and miss selling.

Just updated my watch for this feature, what a joke why can't they just call it something else and do the usual disclaimer till it's approved. Surely the watch is already getting the data eg blood oxygen, snoring ect
