Not sure it's since the software update, but I am confident the step count and distance calculation are hugely inaccurate. Did a comparison with a friend using an Apple watch on a known 7km walk. The apple watch clocked approx 7km but my Samsung Watch Ultra clocked almost 13km and double the step count. We have been comparing for a few weeks now, but this test solidified the suspicions.
Anyone else experiencing this and have a solution?
Did a hike from All Trails, with a known distance of about 7km. The apple watch was a lot closer to the 7km mark, so it seems to be a lot more accurate.
