Smarttag2 - Beep driving me nuts

I keep on in my wallet and after getting random single beeps, assumed somehow the wallet compresses and activates the button.

So I turned off the automation and it still happens.

I thought maybe a stalking mode alert, but it's mine.

Any ideas?

Maybe try hanging it out and see if it still beeps.

It's been doing it for weeks, might try a reset 🤔

Try cleaning the battery compartment. Just did a Google search and it seems to be a common issue.
Hit and miss case. You might just have got a bad unit.

Probably over sensitive 🥺. Or try hanging it out on a backpack or something and see if it still beeps.

Thanks had to Google this to remove the battery, quick clean, rotated the battery and realised the no brand supplied one still going strong since November 2023.

Let's see will report back.

After removing the battery and clean the tag would not connect, so ended up performing a full reset.
