Samsung Watch 6 Classic vs. Fit3 and a Spa

So following on from my other post of can I or can't I take my Samsung Watch 6 or an Ultra into a sauna, I decided not to risk it and purchased a Samsung Fit3.

Samsung Fit3 thoughts, not bad I would say 75% of the functionality, lighter, a week long battery, wonder how much is restricted purely by software.

So first spa visit resulted in endless overheat warnings, shut downs but only in the very hot 90C sauna, interestingly to very hot steam room was fine.

Today though, Fit3 before even starting lost connection to my mobile and wanted a reset, 60C sauna was fine, 90C sauna was meltdown and reboots, then a message saying cooled down, so hot Steam room fine, very hot Steam room was fine, cold room was fine, waterlock on and hydropool and Jacuzzi was fine.

I only want the watch for a timer, the time and emergency incoming calls.

Lastly 4 other people with Apple Ultra watches were having no issues, warnings and reckon they have never had an issue.

Note, no way I was taking my mobile in with me so afterwards did a few quick situational shots.

The Samsung watch ultra is good to 55c

Yeah, but Apple is only 65C i think and no problems for the 4 users.

I guess stressing the battery, device every week will eventually take its toll.

None used Applecare Plus either.

The apple watch ultra 2 operating temp is also 55c

Apple care wouldn't cover the watch if it was subjected to over the operating temp, they'd force you to buy another, and off the subject, Apple uses Bluetooth 5.3, whereas Samsung uses 5.4. Apples do eventually go stale

But wouldn't you rather a watch which protects itself, other than having to line up just for a swap, or even being without it for a few days, my BMWs infotainment used to shut off for a while when it was over heating, and that was the 760li V12 and always when in Spain. There isn't much tech which specs apast 55c, the 55c is just a guide within the threshold, and we're talking about, give or take 10-20%,or on the nose. But it doesn't mean the 🍏 ultra 2 is better than the Samsung ultra, on YouTube most reviews rate the Samsung ultra better, but the Apple ultra a bit better design, but would rate the Samsung ultra better is the kept the classic dial. But honestly I've always owned a classic and never hardly used the dial, so honestly not missing it on the ultra, and I'll never use the digital dial. Anyway my partner is into 🍏 and I always get her the latest apple gadgets, phone, watch, ipad, mac book air, buds pro 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ so I can't really say anything 😂

Background to this was another post about whether Apple users are more reckless, confident in the product, and warranty.

Apple system is question fault based diagnosis, with Apple Care Plus you usually get the device swapped very no resistance.

For me I wouldn't normally get any of my device's wet and extra TLC even when placing device's down.

So are Apple products more robust or are users more confident in the repair process...

Back to the Watch 6 Classic vs Fit3, using the Fit3 at the gym and must admit allot more comfortable to wear and not nothing any loss except some rich notifications.

Might do this regularly at my Watch 6 srrap looks 🤮
