Samsung Watch 5 (46mm) vs Watch 5 pro vs Watch 6 Classic (47mm)

So after I upgraded my son from a Watch 5 (46mm) to a Watch 6 Classic (47mm) I have been somewhat envious, even during setup it was clear it was a step up over the 5 series, though I had been adamant specification wise and features my Watch 5 Pro still had the edge.

I spotted a great trade-in and cashback, so I upgraded my and my wife's watches to  Watch 6 Classic (47mm).

In summary, the  Watch 6 Classic (47mm) easily wins in 3 areas for me:

- The screen size and quality seem far superior (I don't know same screen tech is 1mm larger)

- Speed, it is noticeably quicker with basic commands I thought were fine

- It looks gorgeous and makes my Watch 5 Pro look archaic

- The bezel is back, I realise now how many miss touches I made on my Watch5 Pro

- Battery, my son's Watch 6 Classic (47mm) easily 3 days, I could only achieve 2.5 days, even though the Watch 5 Pro battery has a higher capacity.

My  Watch 6 Classic (47mm) is still learning battery usage, but i am concerned at the amount of apps working in the background.

Thanks for you review, I disagree about how the 5 pro looks though I absolutely love mine, I will probably get a 7 when it comes out or maybe even wait for the 8. I like that the 5 pro is a bit more rough and tough. Glad you like your new watch though, one area the 5 pro could improve is the performance however my battery lasts 3 days with aod on. Without its like 5

I did love the Watch5 Pro, but i would not describe it as tough, as just a few minor knocks and the black paint came off, key reason why i went silver with the Watch 6 Classic.

So far the Watch 6 Classic is barely getting 2 days, another week will give a better idea.

Yea let me know what battery is like as thats what put me off the 6 (I bought my 5 Pro just before 6 arrived) I have bashed mine loads of times but no marks at all

Well settled now but still only getting 2 solid days versus my son who get 3 days easy.
