samsung sm r800 not turning on or charging

I've had this wearable for about 3 years and never had any problems. However, for the last 4 months, I haven't used the watch and kept it in a drawer. Last week, I wanted to use it, but it wouldn't turn on. So I charged it, but the charger kept blinking red. I don't understand whether it's the watch or the charger that's broken. The watch turns on for about 5 seconds if I press the power and home buttons, but then it immediately turns off. Should I try buying a charger like the one below, or is it a complete waste of money and my watch is broken?

Sounds like you need to leave it charging for a while before trying to switch it on, you probably need a more powerful power brick.

I read on the Samsung site that if the charger blinks red, it probably means the watch is not charging correctly, so you should unplug the watch and try charging it again. However, when I retry to charge it, the charger starts blinking again and the watch still doesn't charge, even if I leave it for a while. I guess the problem might be with the charger, but before buying a new one, I want to be sure I’m not wasting money. Which cheap charger do you suggest since the one that I posted is not powerful enough?
