Maybe you never had anything to clean in the first place, buy I'm sure you could find the benefits of clearing the cache partition from lots of people.

Clearing the Cache partition should be done after any firmware update as a matter of course. Even if you don't see any changes then it does clear out junk and fragments from the OS and update process.
