My Samsung Galaxy 4 watch used to work very well with Beats Fit Pro and my toyota bluetooth. My primary use case is listening to music I am a runner and the watch used to work very well for listening music.  I regret updating to One UI6 update.  The Bluetooth connects with my beats fit pro but NO AUDIO.  I have tried soft rest and hard reset still no love.

The specifics are

Galaxy Watch4 (QSEZ)

Model SM-R870

One UI version 6.0. <-- This is the update that ruined it. I should have never done it

Wear 0S - 5.0

Software version - R870XXU1lXK1.

I am disappointed by the quality of their testing when a feature I did not need ended by destroying the watch for my primary use case. I will appreciate if anyone can share a remedy to resolve this.  I have looked at the logs of the watch and here is a summary

After the One UI 6 update on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Bluetooth audio stopped working with my Beats Fit Pro and car stereo—devices connect but play no sound—while an older Bluetooth earbud still functions. Logs show bluetooth.profile.csip.set_coordinator.enabled=false, suggesting a firmware bug with CSIP/LE Audio handling. This issue began post-update; everything worked fine before. A factory reset didn’t fix it. Please investigate and provide a patch or rollback option.

Exact problem I have and it is frustrating and infuriating. Every time they pull a stunt like this I keep getting closer and closer to giving up and just going to Apple next time. Hate this. Watch works with older headphones, beats work with every device in my home (even my Samsung phone and tablet) this is a Watch issue and I am pi55ed. Never ever update

I ended up buying a Pixel watch 1 refurb for 50 dollars here https://www.amazon.com/Google-Smartwatch-Activity-Tracking-Bluetooth/dp/B0CWQ2JKKV/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2....

works flawlessly for me with my beats fit pro

I am not going to buy any samsung products in the future unless they fix this problem for me

I'm having the exact same problem both with Apple Airpods 3 and Sony XM4s. It connects but doesn't play any music.

Agreed. I am so tired of all of these companies eventually pushing mandatory updates only to take back what they have already given you. Come on Samsung push an update already

I was suspecting Samsung doesn't want Apple playing in their ecosystem. Make you buy their ear buds instead.

This is what I'm suspecting as well. I have two beats devices (Powerbeats Pro and Studio Buds) which both do not work with the latest One UI 6.0 update. Meanwhile connecting to a JBL BT speaker provides audio just fine. On runs I've resorted to playing Spotify audio through the watch speaker which obviously isn't ideal for multiple reasons. Thinking of buying some $20 Amazon true wireless headphones but yea this is so frustrating.

My watch received a new update from Samsung and it resolved the issue with Bluetooth. So I thought I would let everyone know since originally I reported this issue. Sometimes the updates are rolled out per schedule based on geography where you live. So of you don't see any updates under settings/ software update be patient. It may be on the way
