Sorry my Samsung Pro2 delivery was missed, Monday now, but I wanted to share mainly the expensive and elaborate IEM (In ear monitors) vs my Pro1 and then Pro2.
Reason I use Qobuz Hifi and Tidal Masters for home on the go, I really rate the Pro1 but annoyed Samsung only offer SBC Codec, so ordered the Pro2 with the 24bit Codec.
So far my little test stands true that a seperates system is the best, but for IEM or In earphones, I am surprised how ***** good the Pro1 are, for me beating the expensive and elaborate IEM.
Can't wait to share my thoughts of the Pro2 on Monday.
HIFI - Audiophile server, switch, streamer, amp and stand mount speakers
BASELINE = 10/10
SOUNSTAGE - Wide with good believable placement
SCALE = Natural
BASS = Tight, tuneful, layered
VOCALS = Clear,
BACKING VOCALS = Clearly positioned and identifiable
REALISM = Natural no feeling of compression, good build up and decay
PRaT = Strong, controlled
DETAILS = Mutli layered
MICRODYNAMCIS = Clear and adds to the sense of realism

DPD delivered my Pro2 Buds today.
Pro2 I will keep, but purely for slightly HiRes sound and a much stronger ANC (even without foam tips). Are they worth the upgrade yes if you found the Pro1 a BIG fit. Are they worth it over other IEM, Yes IF you have a newish Samsung mobile.
Summary Sound = Pro1 vs Pro2 a bit clearer, a bit more detail, bass a bit more controlled, shame it's a scaleable codec, even my old Sony XM4 with LDAC allows developer mode to fully unrestricted sound.
Differences, much smaller and easier fit, my old foam tips do not fit !!!, a neat fit tester for getting the right tip size.
Fit and call quality plus ambient mode needs more time to evaluate.
I paid £160 after discounts and trade in, but only paid £120 for my Pro1.

I ordered the Diofit Foam tips, same brand I used for the Pro1, they made a big improvement as the seal was so good.
The Diofits for the Pro2 are available on Amazon for £21 and as before are labelled as designed for Samsung.
Sadly the Diofit Pro2 foam tips are all smaller in width which means they never fit correctly, even the new fit feature confirms it.
One to avoid unless you have small inner ears.
