Hi

I bought the samsung buds 3 pro one week ago and It seems I have joined the red blinking light team. After a workout in the gym when I put the right one in the cradle the red light starts to blink. No matter what I do. I have cleaned the contacts in the earphone and in the cradle and nothing works. I happeded the same yesterday but It ended up charning. But today is imposible. The earphones works right, but the right one doesnt charge

After my first run with them I'm having the red light issue. I've cleaned the contacts and reset to factory. I don't understand all this flash talk and don't have a computer so no clue how to do this.
Looked like I'll go back to the trusty old buds 2 live that seem bomb proof and reliable.
These will be returned for my money back and try again another day.
Sort it out samsung *****.🙄

I payed for the app, unpaired my Buds 3 Pro's and connected them to the app. I first tried to flash the July update but as soon as I pressed OK, they'd disconnect. I tried performing the factory reset and again, they kept disconnecting. I'm at a total loss on what to do now!!!!

My right earbud is below 10% and nothing I do will get it to charge. Initially I thought it would still charge with the flashing red light on the case but lately that doesn't seem to be the case.

How can you flash them when one earbud is below 15% charge?

I bought mine yesterday, upgraded the firmware via samsung buds app and noticed the blinking red light, I tried downloading the unofficial buds app and using it but had the same issue as you where it would disconnect frequently before you could take any action. I then forgot the buds on my phone and paired it with my PC with the intention of using the same unofficial app but for windows as it's on github (It's an android app but the github repo has windows and other OS installations).

When I installed the app and paired the buds with my PC it just started working and charging again, no idea why pairing it with my PC would work? Maybe the offical app has some bug in it but I'm just speculating. It's not a physical issue with the connections or anything like that, purely a software issue as many others have mentioned. Hope that helps you as well, something incredibly wrong with the software on these buds and looking at issues for "blinking red light" it's been an issue for around a year.

My left bud was doing this for the past day and pissing me off. Just wanted to throw out what worked for me, at least for 12 hours now. Took the buds out of car. I force stopped both the buds pro manager and wear apps. I then cleared the cache and data for the buds pro manager app. I also cleared the cache of the wear app. Put the buds back in and they have been charging fine since.

This issue seems to be driven by the Left Bud.

I have previously returned to Samsung, with my diagnostics results.  They claim to have found and resolved a hardware issue.  On return there's no change to the mischievous behaviour.

I have found that in addition to clearing the app cache and data plus resetting the buds through the wearable app (neither which seem to consistently work), the best way to resolve this is to charge the right bud only for a bit (1 min) with the case closed before adding the left one.  It's a hassle, but seems to work.
