Missed Call Notifications - After Answering on Paired device

I have a Watch 6 paired with my S23.  When the devices operate in standalone mode, and i answer the call on either of the devices. The other device displays it as a missed call. Surely this is wrong, and can anyone advise on how to resolve this?
