MI MAX 3 phone: Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear) "This app isn't compatible with some of your devices".

Not so long ago I bought a new MI MAX 3 phone and tried to install Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear) to control my Samsung Galaxy Watch.

But I get the following error within Google Play Store: "This app isn't compatible with some of your devices".

What should I do? Should I wait for Galaxy Wearable App software update that would likely fix this issue?
Is there any solution?

Unfortunately not all phones are compatible or fully compatible with the watch and accompanying apps and software @AlexMelvin 

If you use Google Search there is an official Samsung Support Page that highlights what phones are compatible with their watches. 

The developer of an app can usually be contacted via the app itself or by email or a social media Avenue.
