Making calls on Active 2 when phone is switched off

When making calls on my Active 2 watch dose my phone have to be switched on?

@Only1: If you have the LTE model then you can make calls without being connected to a phone. If not, you'll need to be connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Hope this helps.

Thanks, it is the lte 4g model, should the phone be switched on for the watch to receive and make calls?

@Only1: That's a good question actually. If you have the LTE model, you don't have to be connected to your phone to make calls, however I can't find any information about whether the phone needs to be switched on. My guess would be that it doesn't need to be on, since no connection is required, but you might want to try this out for yourself just to be sure.

It's looking like the phone has to be switched on to receive calls etc on the watch. A bit frustrating!
