Irregular heart rythm notifications IHRN in UK

Hi, when will IHRN be available in UK? Its November 2024 and IHRN has been available for over a year in other regions eg USA. Apple watch has had it for years already in UK.

Should I try side loading apk?

The news release on it is dated Jun 2023 stating IHRN will be released to 13 markets.

Hello and welcome, it's one for the UK Authorities to approve, that said I think companies should not be allowed to advertise such features without approval.

But why have they approved Apple watch years ago? Does that mean Samsung IHRN isnt as good as Apple IRN Irregular Rythm Notification?

At a guess, i would say how timely are Samsung vs others with submitting applications, but note the UK has more hoops to jump through and then add in brexit drama also how each OEM health apps are built (complexity).

So how much longer do you think? Is it worth sideloading Apk file from apkmirror to get this functionality? Why does Samsung lag so much?

No idea, personally doubt it will ever make it to the UK.
The SHM mod was broken, this fixed, best avoid.

Suggests that UK authorities are rejecting it. Perhaps that's why Samsung are keeping quiet.
