Hi,

Is the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature available on Galaxy Watches in the EU?

I own the Galaxy 5 watch

Only on demand, in the USA I think the FDA approved it.

@Members_g6R6A2t  The irregular Heartbeat Notification available in 13 countries, does not seem to have ben approved anywhere in Europe though.   see this thread https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/wearables/uk-iregular-heart-rate-notfication/td-p/9257742

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Yes feature is available in UK.

I had to turn it off as the alarm for irregular heart beats is too often.

What does it mean "only on demand"?

You have to manually initiate it.

Still no sign in the UK, I upgraded from the 4 classic to the 6 classic as I have AFib and wanted the automatic measurement. Disappointment

I’m also disappointed not to have the Afib facility. It could now be useful to me. (Watch 5 Pro) With no info available regarding its possible inception I’m considering going over to the ‘Dark Side’ (Apple) where it is available. It’s quite an outlay though, given I will need a new phone as well. I suppose it depends how important it is to have it.

I notice the speculation that the watch 7 will have this. I wonder if it will be approved for UK. I upgraded to the watch 6 for this cut to having had AFib but would hate to waste my money on the watch 7 if it doesn't have it.
