I can nog longer use the Galaxy Wear app to configure my Galaxy Watch 4

I was happy with my Galaxy Watch4 for several months. Since last week though, the Wear app, necessary to configure the watch says it needs updating. I does not do that but can only uninstall.

Very annoying as I can no longer use it  with the watch. I have a Nokia 8.3 (Android One) phone.

Anyone have a solution? Or is Samsung working on it?
