Hello,
I am using a Galaxy Watch4 Classic and want to completely remove or disable Samsung Pay (Samsung Wallet) from my watch.
Even after a full reset, I still get the “Add Samsung Pay” prompt. Here’s what I have already tried:
Changed side button shortcuts to other functions
Removed Wallet tiles and watch face complications
Disabled NFC and set no default payment app
Hid/disabled Samsung Pay in the Galaxy Wearable app
Used ADB commands on PC to disable related packages (com.samsung.android.samsungpay.gear, plugin, watchmanager, setup modules)
Despite these attempts, the prompt still appears.
Request:
Please provide an official method to uninstall or permanently disable Samsung Pay on the Galaxy Watch4. If removal is impossible, please share clear steps to stop the “Add Samsung Pay” prompt completely.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your response and the instructions to disable Samsung Pay via the Galaxy Wearable app. I have followed your steps exactly:
Opened Galaxy Wearable → Watch Settings → Apps
Selected Samsung Pay → Force Stop → Disable
However, even after completing these actions, my Galaxy Watch4 Classic still displays the “Activate Samsung Pay” prompt on the watch screen.
This suggests that the disable function does not fully stop the Samsung Pay setup prompt from appearing, at least on my current watch software version.
Could you please escalate this to your technical team and confirm whether there is a working method to completely stop the “Activate Samsung Pay” message on Galaxy Watch4? If there is no possible way to remove the prompt, I would appreciate an official statement and any known workaround.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
han
