I just got a new Samsung Galxy watch and one thing I am missing from my Fitbit is a reminder if I haven't gotten up and walked 250 steps in the last hour. I've been looking for an Ap to do this on the Galaxy watch, but haven't been able to find one. Does anyone know of such an Ap?

Assuming you mean my Move It! app, unfortunately it has not been completed. I was busy for a while but now that I have time, Samsung is switching to the Wear OS on newer watches and I have no interest in finishing it for the old watch.
Now if Samsung wants to give me a new Wear OS device to replace my Watch 3 I'll get right on it.

@NJ7: On your Galaxy Watch7, please open the Samsung Health app > Settings > Inactive time, and turn the feature on to receive alerts after 50 minutes of inactivity, and set the time and days you want to be notified.
The Watch will notify you and show you some stretching motions to follow or it will show you a screen encouraging you to engage in light activity. I understand that this might not be exactly what you're looking for, however I hope this goes some way to resolving your query.

Hi @AndrewL
Thanks for your reply. however, the setting for time and days is for my inactive time. which means switching it on will not notify me at the set hour and date. However, for the active time, only if I am not moving at all will it notify me. if i sit in a meeting for an hour(more than 50min). it will not notify me.

That's not nearly the same as what he's asking about. It's 2024 Samsung, just look at the Fitbit step count hourly reminder and mimick, surely it's not a proprietary thing that can't be added.

That's not what we're looking for . This reminder is nice, but is incomplete. We want to be able to have an hourly step goal, say 250 steps andl hour, and be reminded when we haven't done this and also receive a notification that we have completed the steps for the hour. Please look at how Fitbit does it and mimick. It's one of the prime reasons I wear a smart watch.
