I bought my gear s2 3 years ago and I was really happy with the performance until 2 days ago. The battery life was at least 2 days and I never had any problems with the watch.
Immediatly after the last software update the battery started draining rapidly. In less than two hours it would go from 100 to 0%. I tried many fixes including uninstalling all the apps and watchfaces, disabling notifications, turning off wifi and a factory reset. The uninstall doesn't seem to work and the factory reset also s3emed to have no effect.
The icons of the apps in the gear menu are corrupted and nothing works.
I searched in developer forums and it seems this is a general issue happening in the Netherlands with people who bought the balr edition of the s2.
This is the second time I had a perfect and fully functioning device and Samsung destroyed it with a software update. Last year tg3 same thing happened 4o my note4.
Please let me know how you plan to fix this problem.
