Hey everyone i really hope if can anyone help me with my prob wich is the following:
I did buy my samsung galaxy watch ultra a while now and whenever i try to swim with it in open water it doesn't record the pace or distance in an accurate way .... in fact it's far away from being accurate tbh
It either shows 0 m or 4m no matter how far i swim

Hello. I was so happy today after my first open water swim with my Watch Ultra. The watch tracks my swim with very high accuracy. I was following around 20 bouy and made one loop, upon checking the watch logged 0.7 KM in 22 minutes (I swim very slow. Hehe) The 2nd and 3rd loop all counted the same distance. Total distance of 2.13 KM in 1 hr 10min. The map showed an almost perfect path. The 3 loops followed the same route. This is by far an excellent GPS tracking while the watch was on my hand. So impressed with the performance.

The same happened to mine 7 ultra. I Swim everyday and never shows distance. Sometimes 3 or 4 meters or even zero. Apparently we have to wait for the update. I have a 4 classic and it is a blast and better battery after 3 years.

Do you have precise location on?
I also get no distance and wondering if you can help with any special settings?

Do you have any setting suggestions to get distance to record. Seems to be a common problem that it just shows 0.00km as the distance although tracking your swim. Samsung has been no help!

Same here although put the classic back on today and now not recording either. Makes me think maybe it's a setting?

their own website shows open water swimming showing distance completed?

I do not make any special changes on the settings during my swimming sessions. I just do some loops on the bouys. I made 3 loops then looking on the map after I finished it shows to be somewhat accurate. Not that it is perfectly straight but it is very good. If only I can attach the map here to show you.

But do it record the distance in meters for instance?
