Galaxy watch remote connection

I bought the new watch so I could use without having to have my phone on me.

Whenever the remote connection is on a cannot receive calls phone both my phone and watch and can not dial out from the watch, it only works with Bluetooth.

 

Bearing in mind I already have the frontier and I'm paying a premium for a service that doesnt work when i could just the other watch.

 

Will this be sorted or have I just been robbed?

Do you have an LTE version of the watch with an additional service at your mobile provider?
If not: That might be the issue, in this case it only works using bluetooth.

If yes: It might be that the mobile provider didn't provision your eSim properly for you. Try to contact them first to see if they can do something from their end.

@Deanosid: I've heard a rumour of something like you've posted here on LTE Galaxy Watches. If yours is an LTE one, are you able to get things working by following the below steps:

 

  1. Create Watch settings backup to Samsung cloud
  2. Un-pair Watch and Primary device
  3. Select Settings / “Connect to new phone” option on the Watch
  4. Finish the pairing process
