I have been trying to set up watch 7 for my son to no avail. I saw a video by Samsung on YouTube saying we can now set up for kids.

Anyone with experience linking galaxy watch to Google family link, kindly share.

It also says rolling out in the coming weeks, so if you do have a watch7 LTE maybe it's not been updated yet.

"The Galaxy Watch for Kids experience will roll out to the Galaxy Watch7 LTE in the coming weeks. It will initially be available in the U.S. on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon networks"

I haven't heard of a watch through family link...what is it you want to restrict?

Can set up a routine sleep mode to try and stop them using it - but as it needs to be linked to a device, it's the device that's restricted.

My kids phones are controlled on family link and have galaxy fit3 watches.

Thanks - haven't seen this.

Do you meet these conditions? Particularly the LTE variant

*To use Galaxy Watch for kids, the watch requires the latest Wear 0S version installed and must be paired with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone running One U1 5.1 or above.
*Galaxy Watch for Kids is only available on Galaxy Watch7 LTE model. May become available for older models in future. Feature availability may vary based on country/region, carrier, model, and
paired smartphone.
*Parent and child must have a Samsung and Google account with Family Link, and parental consent required for children under 13 years old
*Requires initial pairing with a compatible Samsung smartphone and qualifying wireless plan with LTE service activated (Verizon, AT&T & T-Mobile available at launch), Your carrier may not support stand-alone voice calling, or support may be available only in certain areas. Please check with your carrier for more information.

Yes. It is the LTE variant. I have activated an eSim through Spusu.

Oh... I see. Chances are that it's not yet available in the UK market... makes sense.

Why always start these things in the US?

Well it could be the update hasn't come through yet....has it recently had a software update?

I would keep checking over the next couple of weeks as it could just be this.

Alternatively, you could try Samsung chat and see if they can confirm this feature will be available in UK.
