Galaxy watch connection to new A14

Hi, my S21 has died (black screen that wont reset) and had to buy emergency A14 but I'm unable to connect my watch to it! The watch when trying to go into setting says "unlock phone first" which I can't do because screen black! Help please? Thanks

You could try to reset the watch in recovery mode. Do you have a watch 4 or 5?

In the link it tells you how to get into recovery mode on your active 2. Hopefully you can perform a factory reset.
