Hi there, i have just purchased the galaxy watch 7 and connected with the pixel phone 6a however i am having issues with the weather complication doesn't refresh automatically, i need to click on the complication, open the app and then refreshes manually. I have enabled all permissions on phone and watch, is there a bug? Thanks. Luca.

I have the same problem with my new Galaxy Watch Ultra, paired with a Pixel 8 Pro. Although an extremely trivial issue, it's grating as it should just work.
The Google weather app workaround is appreciated, I just find it a little messy. Let's hope Samsung are aware of and can fix the underlying issue.

Same issue here, the weather on my Galaxy Watch 7 (paired with a OnePlus phone) doesn't refresh.
I've added permissions whenever I can, but no improvement.
Furthermore, I can't even update manually. When I try to hit refresh, the icon spins for a while, but it doesn't update. Sometimes, it prompts me to open my phone, but when I do, I'm greeted by a "Galaxy Watch7 Manager keeps stopping" pop-up message...
The only way I can update the weather is to delete and add the location again on my phone...

For me the problem is that every so often, the tile appears as "no weather info" asking me to add a location; I added one from the list (which was supposed to be dynamic, based on location) and it kept giving me only the first set location. I deleted the tile, readded it, and then it started working again with dynamic location. The thing is, I wish I didn't have to do this
(I have a samsung galaxy S22, so it's not exclusive to non samsung phones)

This has been an issue for many years, even with the Galaxy Watch 4, and perhaps before that. It's still the same with a brand new watch out of the box. Please Samsung fix your weather app so that it actually has an auto refresh like it says it has.
I suspect you limit it to Samsung phones only as always, how sad.
