I bought a new Watch 6 LTE. It records work outs, but it is not recording sleep. I tried rebooting the watch, played around with the sleep settings, cleaned the sensors, made sure sensors are turned on for the Health app, yet my watch is not recording sleep. I feel there is a design flaw with the Watch 6. I have used the Watch 3 and Watch 4 extensively. I am wondering if others are having this issue with the Watch 6 and if anyone has any solutions...

@MK2023 If not done so already, please change the heart rate settings to 'Always' on by doing the following:
1. Swipe down on the face of the Watch to access the apps.
2. Select the Samsung Health app.
3. Select your Settings.
4. Select the Measurement.
From here you can adjust how regularly your heart rate is monitored. Does this help?

@MK2023 Wear the smartwatch snugly on your arm above the wrist and don't fasten it too tightly.
Please check for any software updates for your smartwatch. To update your smart watch:
On your mobile device, open the Galaxy Wearable app > Watch settings > Watch software update > Select either Install now or Install overnight.
If this doesn't help, backup any important data stored on the smartwatch, as a factory data reset means that you will lose all data stored on the memory. To back up your smart watch, using your mobile device:
From the Galaxy Wearable app, select Watch settings > Account and backup > Back up data.
If you have the Reactivation lock enabled, disable it before resetting your smartwatch. To enable or disable the Reactivation lock:
On your connected device, open the Galaxy Wearable app > Find My Watch > Set security > If you can't see SET SECURITY, you may need to select turn on Remote connection first > Lock watch > Select the switch to enable or disable the lock > Enter a four digit PIN and select Done.
Once you are happy that it's backed up, perform a factory data reset. To reset your watch:
Press the home button on the watch > Swipe down on the face of the watch > Select the settings icon > General > Reset > Select Reset again. Does this help?

I too have the same issues as MK2023 and have been following this post hoping to get a solution.
I have followed all of the suggestions from Aron AJ including the Factory reset and my watch Galaxy 6 will still not record my sleep correctly. it is only recording about a third of my total sleep with lots of breaks. My watch is only about 4-5 weeks old. It did record my sleep correctly for about the first 3 weeks.
Hoping you are able to offer a solution otherwise I will have to return it. Thank you.

Exactly Gypsie1 and others. Galaxy watch 6 has certainly not been good. The sleep tracker only starts approx 4 hours after turning it on. Everything mentioned has been tried, checking strap tightness, and all the resets and app checks. If lucky maybe once a fortnight it miraculously gets it right. Samsung please you must be aware of this issue in more detail and there needs to be a fix released. To be honest even with the lack of tech the original Samsung watch the very first one works better. I went from 1 to watch 6, has not been the best experience.

When there are no needed updates, the watch is being physically worn as suggested, tracking allowed and always on is there any other solution? It tracked my naps ONCE I had this watch now for 4 months.

I have this problem too, with a new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47 mm LTE. It registers some sleep, but not all. My previous watch was the original un-version-numbered Galaxy Watch, and I didn't have any problems with that.

Technology seems to just get worse and worse. New updates always break things or remove features. The industry is really messed up.

My 3 month old galaxy 6 watch doesn't record my sleep properly either. Usually only records the last 2 or 3 hours. Useless.
