Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm

I am unable to backup my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

The Galaxy Wear app doesn't show the option.

The watch itself states in red that the watch can't be backed up.

So, what gives? Why this behaviour?

This is a good question as I've raised the same issue on here too.

I was hoping after a while this issue would be resolved with an update, or the fact there's something to backup, the options would appear, or a backup would show that its actually been done.

This needs sorted ASAP as a backup is absolutely necessary.

Watch 6 now uses Smartswitch to back up the data (rather than the previous method) do you have Smartswitch installed on your phone?

I can't install smart switch on the watch.

It's not available on the watch
