Galaxy Watch 6 can't answer or make calls - answers but transfers to phone

Galaxy watch 6 will answer calls but immediately transfer to phone. Same with dialing out, I can start a call but it immediately transfers to phone. Tried the usual tricks of toggling Bluetooth (connected for calls), restarting phone and watch, reset watch... same behaviour. Any ideas or is this a known bug?

Galaxy watch 6 SM-R930
ONE UI 6.0 Watch R930XXU1BYD1
System version 14, Wear OS 5.0

S23 Ultra SM-S9180
Android 15, One UI 7.0

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome, double check you mobile settings, it should not happen without you tapping twice i think, to change the device.

Did you just reset the watch or also clear the Wearable app and unistall and reinstall, easy way to get back to default, but you have the setup again.

👏 That got it! Uninstalling and reinstalling the Wearable app as well as resetting the watch (not restoring a backup, setting up as new) did the trick. Bit of a hassle but thank you very much for your help! 🙏

Excellent, to be honest its like a nuclear option but overall a quick fix to get back to default, sometimes even a partition cache isn't enough.
