Galaxy watch 5 - Some caller names not showing

Hi all, I've noticed some strange behaviour on my GW5:

for some incoming calls the caller name (from contacts) is shown on the watch but for other only the number calling is shown (although these numbers are also saved in contacts).

For example, for the recent 20 calls in the call log half of the calls are logged just as phone number, other with caller names. But all these numbers/callers are saved in the contacts - I can see them in Contacts app on my watch!

Not 100% this is happening since the last watch os upgrade (Wear OS 4/One UI 5, last update security patch level July 23).

Any help appreciated, thanks!

SOLUTION FOUND...

New-to-me Galaxy watch 5 Pro...

Same complaint: Some contacts "appear", some don't. Specifically:

I cannot find some contacts using the Samsung Contacts app, and the Google Contact app. Calls to/from those missing entries also are not labeled in my phone log. I don't use my watch for email, so I stopped there.

Here's the simple and sad reality...

ALL CONTACTS MUST HAVE A *NAME*. If First and Last name are empty, because it's a company, the contact entry will not display. For example:

Name.F="Adam", Name.Last" Wallace", Company="Nike Inc", Phone="+13 5644-12898"      <- Works fine.
Name.F="Brea", Name.L="Smith", Phone="+1 (222) 444-5656"        <- works fine
CompanyName="Acme Products", Phone="+1(333)676-9090      <-- WILL NOT SHOW UP ANYWHERE

Software is updated. Tech support from Samsung was useless to figure this out.
First call: Factory reset required
Second call: Your watch is damaged, you must repair it at a facility

Seriously Samsung... Epic fail on the software side.
