Wondering if i have the watch lying around connected to my phone it can access my messages calls etc. Is there any way to secure it with a screen lock perhaps?

If you go to security on the watch in settings. You can add a pattern or pin. Which you need to enter once when you put your watch on to unlock. Take the watch off you will need to enter the pattern or pin in again. Hope this helps.

You can set a PIN lock so once removed from wrist it will auto lock and won't be able to access anything without PIN entry - if watch is restarted then it will also prompt for PIN before reconnecting.

Additionally, in notification settings for watch then it can be set to only notify if its being worn.
