Steps to reproduce:
- start an activity, any activity - the HR will work fine
- after about 10 minutes, pause the activity
- wait for a few minutes and observe the HR... after a while, the readings become nonsense (like 150 while sitting down)
- once this happens, you can go to the main menu and try to measure HR "manually" and it will go from 0 to 100% in less than a second and display a fake reading (again, something like 140, while you're completely relaxed)
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

no, the readings are definitely fake.
I have gone through the steps described above while sitting on a couch watching TV.
while the activity (in my case "other workout) was active, my HR reading was in the 60-70 zone, which is normal... once I paused the activity, the HR gradually climbed to 150 and then lingered in the 140-150 zone, which, if not fake, is insanely inaccurate.

I have gone back to review my past activities where I've used the pause and found out that the problem started sometime between September 26th and October 1st. That would correlate with the release of the Samsung Health (Wear OS) version 6.24.4.003 on September 27th.

I have the same problem. I suspect it started before 2 or 3 months. In fact, I have the opposite experience - once I pause my workout, more often it just automatically pauses it for a few minutes and later I continue, my HR is crazy low for a 5-20 minutes, which is crazy. I'm getting 80-100 HR while cycling, which is nonsense. Any fix for this please?
