Galaxy Watch 4 & Google Pay?

Hi everyone, I've noticed that Google Pay will be installed in the new Galaxy Watch 4 but won't be supported at that minute so won't work. Could anyone clarify this or give more information on what the outcome of it all will be.

Same here.

My cards are added, the watch is unlocked but it does nothing when pressed up against the nfc readers.

I have found the issue after several hours of troubleshooting using a nfc reader app on my phone.

On your Galaxy watch 4:

Swipe down and go to settings (gear), connections then click on nfc.

Scroll down and choose Payment as Google play instead of Samusung Pay (default).

I also enabled pay with open app, but dunno if that changes anything.

Just tried it out at the local market and it worked.

Sì, ho impostato il doppio click sul pulsante home (sopra) che mi apre Gpay. Il doppio click sul pulsante back (sotto) non si può attualmente modificare. Per far funzionare Gpay dopo averlo installato dal play store sull'orologio, devi andare in impostazioni> connessioni> NFC e cambiare la app di pagamento predefinita da Spay a Gpay.
