Just received galaxy watch 3 Xmas gift  ( I have gear S3 frontier and a galaxy watch ) so not a newbie to the product .
Whilst working out the watch is just loosing connection to the heart rate monitor for 5- 10 mins at a time , It did happen on occasion with my galaxy watch but not to this extent so I'm just getting left with periods of time with no data not had one day that its traced a whole work out ! Anyone got any thoughts as to why this may be happening and what I can do to resolve it ? Tia

I bought this watch back when it was released and i have the same issue everytime i exercise. I am doing insanity workouts which are intense workouts, however, as you say i will look at my heart rate and it will say it is 96bpm or something which is way off! check and it will have last updated 12mins ago when its supposed to be continuous. Ive tried different wrist bands and have a feeling its something to do with sweat between my skin and the watch. I am very very disappointed with it considering the amount i paid for the product and tracking my heart rate during exercise was one of my main reasons for me buying the product.🤔😡

I've managed to sort mine out now , I don't know if you had. a previous galaxy watch not sure if it matters but try going to the apps section on your settings your phone and clear the cashes and memory that sorted it out for me

hi! has it been sorted out since? yesterday I had the same symptoms. insanely low heartbeat during exercise. it was okay up to 140 bpm, then it lost its mind and went back to 100 bpm
