So, I just got my Galaxy ring, but I can't seem to find the gestures tab on the Galaxy Wearable app. I'm using a Galaxy S24 Ultra. Can you help me out with this?
mine is the same 6.1 not 6.1.1i spoked to samsung about it and most of the questions i gave them they jsut decided to ignored.plus i think people with s24 ultra well ingeneral s24 we all spend money on ring for no reason with out expecing this problemsplus to me they should of say it on the ring him self that the ring needs sofware updates or at least shey should of say on the ring that it needs lates 6.1.1 SOFWARE. but thats my opinion on this all :)im a bit upset about it because i wanted to test it this gestures thin on Camera because im traveling a lot and want take photos from the ring but i guess no one cant till the stupid update come out for any s24
It's worth noting that I traded my Watch 5 in and gor the watch 7 and came out to approx $70 with taxes. The watch 7 has all the features the ring has, as well as EKG, and can confirm all the gestures the ring has works with the watch 7. The gestures are pretty neat. Knock to turn on torch, and pinch to take pics are pretty cool. Also, insanely better battery life than my watch 5. I did have to figure out that to pinch to snap pics, you have to tap the camera app on the watch for it to work which will ooen camera on your phone. It also gives you 3 3 second timer from when you do the gesture. Hope this helps!
That is helpful info. I, too, purchased the Galaxy Watch 7 (not the Ultra version). I'm excited to use the features you mentioned with my new watch. I'm upset about the lack of gestures on the ring because I was only able to update to 6.1 on my S24 Ultra.
Yeah, for now my watch 7 works incredibly well with all the gesture features. I just hate wearing my watch to bed for sleep and health tracking. Hopefully they make some changes in the future. Also, the watch 7 battery life compared to the 5,6 versions is night and day better imo
