Galaxy buds pro 2 not auto switching

The instructions to use this feature in the app are vague. I have the same samsung account connected to everything, and just reset my earbuds. I have seamless connection turned on as well. I then connected the earbuds to my phone, played some music briefly, then attempted to watch a youtube video on my Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, and it played through the laptop speakers. What other steps do I need in order for this to work?

Might sound silly but have you got your galaxy book connected as a device on your Bluetooth as well as your buds......

Are you asking if the laptop is connected to my phone?

Yes on Bluetooth

I have the same problem, the automatic switching between the laptop and the phone does not work ( Galaxy Z Fold3 5G  phone and a Galaxy Book2 Pro ). Everything works perfectly between the tablet and the phone.
