I use Galaxy Buds Plus together with Windows 10:
- Firmware version R175XXUOAU83 on the Buds
- Windows 10 Home version 20H2
- Buds driver in Windows: 10.0.19041.1
- Intel Bluetooth version: 22.20.1.1
The delay between video and audio on any Windows laptop is between 300ms and 500ms (1/2 sec), always.
Anything over 50ms makes it impossible to watch e.g. Netflix or Youtube.
Laptops tested:
- Samsung Galaxy Book S: 350ms
- Asus Zephyrus: 300ms
Mobile phones tested:
- Sony Xperia ZX3: 50ms
- Samsung Galaxy S20: 0ms (!)
Only Samsung S20 works to satisfaction.
Testing bluetooth headphones Sony WH1000XM3 gives 0 ms delay on the laptops above.
This makes it not possible to use the Galaxy Buds Plus together with a Windows laptop, the delay is too big. And the connection to laptops was the main purpose for buying these buds.
The handfree driver can be used i e.g. Youtube (no delay), but can not be used in e.g. Netflix.
Tested many possible solutions, nothing works. That includes pair/unpair several times, disable the handsfree function, drivers etc. etc.
