Galaxy active watch stops recording exercise midway through workout.

My galaxy active watch has suddenly stopped recording exercise midway through the workout.  I have not changed any settings on my phone or watch so I am at a loss.  The software is up to date.  Any help is appreciated.

I was having this problem as well.  I would manually start the indoor bike workout, it would do the countdown and theI'd id look a few minutes later and the workout had stopped tracking.  The Health app shows that it only recorded 3 seconds before stopping.

I just upgraded to a new phone, so my watch needed to reset when I connected it.  All has been good for about 3 weeks and then it did it again this morning.  I don't think it's the auto detect interrupting because I didn't even get the notice that autodetect had been running for 5 minutes until a full 6.5 minutes after the tracking had cancelled.

I have the same issue, it goes through the countdown, and when I look at it later, its not recording,  and the app is only showing a 3-second workout.

Update- my watch continued to have this issue, along with the GPS becoming less accurate the older the watch got.  I finally had to resolve it by switching to the Garmin Venu 3.  It is the most similar watch to the Galaxy watch with none of the issues.

My galaxy watch 5 pro has been doing it for the last week or so. I record cycling. A minute after start I get a message "looked like you stopped. Finish workout?" Or something like that
