Facebook messenger reply message not working

I recently bought a Galaxy watch 6, 44mm bluetooth version.
I receive my facebook messenger messages on my watch and can reply to them.
The watch also shows that my reply message has been sent.
But the person who sent it doesn't get my reply message.
My reply message does not appear in the facebook messenger application on my phone either.
For other apps like Viber, this works perfectly.

I've got the same issue, have been trying to find a fix since the latest watch UI 6 update and nothing. Everything that has been said in other threads/websites doesn't work. Really annoying that this has happened.
