The issue is simple, there was bad update that caused the problem. The solution is as simple, wait for a patch to be issued by Samsung. Per a Samsung agent who was the most helpful.

this started happening after the last update, but every time after ECG finishes the screen goes black and then I have to enter the PIN sometimes it doesn't even send the report to my phone sometimes it does. Very annoying.

Got the same issue on Galaxy watch 4 classic, awaiting update or bug fix.

So guys, if it is an option for you! Switch off both automatic tracking of HR and Stress levels, that fixes the issue with ECG locking watch, but not the Software ofc...

Not here in Europe.. Same *****... They replaced previous watch with the new one... same issue..
