Hi, I got the Gear S2 and was wondering if it is worth buying the Gear S3. What does the Gear S3 have that the Gear S2 does not? Doollee

Hey Doollee, thanks for posting!
We've added a couple of extra features to the Gear S3, such as a built-in speaker that allows you to make/take calls right away. If you like the great outdoors, then the GPS may also come in handy.
In terms of design, the Gear S3 is slightly bigger than the Gear S2, but you shouldn't need to charge it as often. You can take a look at the Gear S3 in all its glory here.

Hi Dolliie,
I had been debating a lot before settling in for the Gear S2 over gear S3. Of course as mentioned earlier the S3 is a more powerful watch and can do a lot more if you are a serious athele as it has a built in GPS to track your routes without the phone. It has a larger battery, a built in speaker and a different design slightly with frontier made for adventure. You can take calls on the phone. The gear S2 is smaller and looks great on smaller wrists. It does not have the above mentioned extras but, also, it is a lot cheaper than the gear s3.
If you are looking for just a small quaint smart watch which is good on the pocket then gear S2 might fit bill. Otherwise go for gear S3.
Cheers

But the Gear S3, as sold in the UK, can't make calls unless tethered to a mobile device. Which is really disappointing.
