delete contacts on Active2

I loaded up all my contacts onto my Active 2 watch but realise I don't need them but can't see how to delete them.

I can't find the answer in the manual or on the internet. 

can anyone else help?

@SennockIan: On the watch itself, head to Apps > Contacts > Press and hold on a contact you wish to remove > Delete. The contacts are syncing from your connected mobile device, therefore you may wish to check the Apps section of the Wearables app for any available syncing options.
