Connecting GEAR 360 (2017) to Macbook via bluetooth

Hi

I know the Gear 360 has frustrating limited capabilities from reading other posts, but I find this one really bizarre. 

Does anyone know if you can connect the camera to a laptop via bluetooth or is it limited to only mobile devices? I can see the camera on my macbook bluetooth options but I can't get it to connect. Any ideas if this is possible? It works fine using the usb cable but I want to go wireless if pos.
