Can't remove no phone connected notification (galaxy watch ultra )

When the phone is left at home the galaxy watch ultra shows an icon at 12 o clock which cannot be removed, Why?! 

Especially if the watch has lte and I don't want to take the phone for a jog, the watch is all I need.  I want to be able to remove this notification or disable. Please fix this.

Nothing to fix. You need to adjust your settings accordingly.

Wearable App > Watch Settings > Advanced Features > Disconnection Alerts

Can do it Via watch too by swiping up > Settings and the exact same steps above

These steps do not work, maybe in previous versions of galaxy watch but not the ultra.  Tech support also got back to me and stated currently there is no way to disable.
