Can I set my galaxy watch 3 up to support Google pay?

I'm with ING who does not support Samsung pay. Need Google pay but watch is saying no.

it's been asked a few times I believe you can. if you search that question it should pop up with a solution answer.

I have tried, no one seems to give a straight answer. People say should be able to and that's it. As far as I can tell, I can't. If I can't, I need to take the watch back as it's basically a glorified time teller for me.
