After 2 weeks of use, I've to admit that the solutions implemented in this new product are great.
Pros:
- sound quality, deep bass and good separation,
- very good ANC (slightly weaker, however, compared to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds),
- sensational voice detection function, muting music and turning off ambient sound during calls),
- very good microphones and phone call quality, especially in noisy environments,
- good comfort and fit of the buds 3 pro, easy placement and removal from the ear,
- touch controls,
- voice control with simple commands (please add (in the future firmware) ANC on/off and aware voice function),
- personalization of settings in the app and integration with Samsung Galaxy phones,
- LEDs, useful (especially at night),
- earbuds are well made and relatively easy to clean,
- color coding also works well and makes it easy to place the buds 3 pro in the charging case.
Cons:
- These earduds are very comfortable but when, for example, running, they aren't firmly “anchored” in ears and can move,
- It happens, when giving short commands, that you've to repeat them, because samsung buds don't detect that it's, for example, to stop music or increase volume,
- BT connection range 5.4 similar to 5.3,
- Battery/e (1h music + ANC) stays 60-70%,
- When placing the headphones in the charging case, you need to rotate them about 180 degree,
- You need to beware of buying the silicone case (too thick), because the buds 3 pro stop charging wirelessly.
The bottom line is that despite some “shortcomings” I sincerely recommend Samsung Buds 3 Pro.
