4 Classic, Does it need calibrating

Hi to current users

I am not a current Galaxy watch owner yet but definitely going for Watch 5 Pro 

Mean time, when you used your Galaxy watch on Treadmill for the first time, did it need calibrating with the Treadmill distance

My Garmin watch asked me to calibrate after my first run, it gave me 10.5 km and Treadmill gave me 10.1km so I calibrated it to 10.1 (I know treadmill is more accurate)

Chuck it, why does anyone really need one of these contraptions? So easyctocaxxummulate stuff you never use these days and end up surrounded by time wasting junk you never

If I remember correctly when I had a watch 4 classic I had to calibrate my stride length by walking for accuracy but I never bothered 🙃
