I am looking to get a HDD for my Q60R 4k TV for recording and timeshift purposes. Samsung firstly advised me to use the T5 SSD, which I was impressed with especailly when you look at the transfer rates. But when I double checked again with another service agent they then said that it must be a spinning HDD with 5400 rpm minimum and no bigger than 2TB.
I am confused and at a loss what to do and which way to go with this.
I did initially try a 64GB USB memory stick that worked at first and then just stopped recording and now says that it is not fast enough
Any suggestions which route to take would be much appreciated as my head is in a spin with it now.
