This morning my TV was stuck on TV. The source button does nothing. I did a reset. I unplugged the TV while on. I tried selecting the source from my iPhone remote app. Nothing works. The home button does not function, either. My firmware is up to date. I tried to select Home and Source using the joystick on the back of the TV; that does not work either. When either Home or Source are selected, nothing changes.

Hi @another jim Just checking you have firmware 1290.3 which was released January 2021 and can be downloaded to USB https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0022570 I would firstly suggest holding in the power in for around 5 seconds until the Tv reboots. If this does not sort the issue out was it a factory reset you tried? If that does not make a difference try unplugging Tv from mains for around 5-10 minutes before trying again.
However I am assuming you are based in the US and this is the uk/Ireland forum in the European communities. Whilst everyone is welcome You may wish to check the US site if still problems as only they could offer more specialised support. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Community/ct-p/us

Thanks, James. My TV is set to Auto update and shows v. 1290. I tried all the tricks you listed here. The reset was a factory reset...
I am in the US. Here in the US, we regard the UK/EU tech support to be the gold standard, so I figure your help is as good as it gets. I will try the link you listed. I might get lucky.
