UE55KS9000 Displaying coloured vertical lines.

My 55KS9000 screen is now just displaying colour vertical lines the full width of the screen.

I have read elsewhere is can be an issue with a loose or damaged cable connected to the main board?

Having has a quick look inside it, all cables connected to the main board seem fine to me with a quick visible inspection.

I have also called Samsung to arange a repair, who have put me on to my local repair agent (They are based 2 hours away so surprisingly I am still waiting on a call back)

Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it.

Hey i am having a similar problem. I turn on the tv and all looks ok for a few seconds, after no more than a minute that has "warmed up" the whole screen gets messy. Did you manage to find a solution?

In my case it was the screen/panel unfortunately.

Pretty disappointing for such a relatively new and pricey TV.

As suggested it could be the cables between than main board and the screen or it could be the main board itself. The cables are pretty easy to check as these just unclipped and its a quick visual inspection.

I ended up claiming off my insurance but did not replace it with another samsung.

If you bought it from a reputable retailer I would take it up with them irrelevant of any guarantee period.
