UE48JS8500 Dark Screen Light Bleed

I've noticed a gradual decline in the screen quality of my tv. The top half of the screen is considerably darker than the bottom half and I have light bleed on the edges of the screen. Even more worrying is when watching TV for more than an hour I have an egg shape black mark appear in the top left of the screen. The screen frame then becomes very hot to the touch. Is this a known fault and fixable, can this be investigated in some way.

I wish you luck with this. I have raised it on 2 different community forums for Samsung then filled in an official complaint when I got no answers. All I got in return was the contact details for a repair company who had poor reviews. I contacted some tv repair companies who said it would be cheaper to by a new tv. Which is what I had to do in the end. It seems in the US they were replacing/fixing some of these known faults when raised but across Europe there seems to be zero interest in helping.
