I wonder if anybody could help I have a UE40C8000 tv  it is about 10 years old, The last week when I switch it on it has a red line straight down the middle of the tv it stays there for 15 minutes and then it goes, it is a good tv so instead of buying a new one for now I wondered if I can be fixed. Thank you

Have you tried changing the display cable, it may be worn and causing a problem with the image displayed

This means changing the HDMI or Scart lead you are using right now
